Motorola APX Programming Software (CPS R29.00.01 Feb 3, 2023). New in the CPS/RM (R29.00.01): * Added a new field in Radio Wide-> "Analog Wideband Data" for XCMP licensed users. The new AWD mode requires use of a 3rd party control head and, therefore, cannot be used with the feature. * Added additional flexibility to configure "Concurrent Rx Enable" also per personality. * Increased control of the way that Voice Announcements interrupts the received audio with the options in Voice Announcements-> Voice Announcement Wide-> "Voice Announcement Priority". * Added a new field for Channel Fallback in Radio Wide -> "Channel Fallback Enable" and also optional programmable button configuration to allow "Automatic Channel Fallback" to be enabled or disabled. * Added the support for Working Unit ID in Trunking Configuration -> Trunking System-> WUID Validity Support. * Added the display of the received signal strength in dBm alongside the existing RSSI displays in both Conventional (reusing the Conventional RSSI display checkbox ) and Trunking (setting a button to "Site Displ/Srch"). * For APX NEXT, added the automatic adjustment of speaker loudness based on the environmental noise by configuring the "Noise Sensing Volume Control" per Radio Profile. * From firmware R29.00.00 or higher, if read or write password is enabled, it shall apply to both read and write operations. i.e. password cannot be enabled for just read, or just write. * The forgotten password procedure will require a password reset file acquired from the call center, rather than a password of the day. * Logical Profile Configuration has been added to all models that do not use them, to provide a mechanism to the fields' validity, in case they go invalid due to the manipulation of the Radio Profiles. These customer reported issues have been fixed in release (R29.00.01) : * Resolved the Logical Profile Configuration for portable OMAP APX radios. * Removed the misleading information about failure to download Language Packs during CPS OTAP Batch POP25 programming. * Resolved issue with connection to the new version of IMW caused by TLS 1.0 vs. TLS 1.2 mismatch. * Resolved the issue with read/write radio in RC and CPS because of broken TTS files. * After creating POP25 jobs through Radio Management, the scheduled jobs for POP25 will fail with the following error: "Error 2050 Permission denied - Advance System Key for at least one system in the codeplug must have OTAP enabled to perform this operation". * For APX Next, DP fails to detect and enable Read/Write Jobs over an isolated WiFi network (no internet connection).
