Developing and implementing Manufacturing Processes for MAHLE Aluminum Heat Exchangers that are produced in our Ohio, South Carolina, and Mexico facilities Involved in all phases of projects from acquisition through the start of production Program Management, Supplier Development, Budgets, Quality and Manufacturing studies Managing manufacturing programs, budgets, line and line lay outs Development of equipment specifications, equipment purchase and validation Project / program organization primarily internal with manufacturing plants in Charleston, SC and Mexico Supplier project / program management and timelines, coordinate trial runs and RFQs Development of capacity plans, MTM analysis and routing and calculations Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering 2 plus years of experience working in Manufacturing engineering, process planning, process development and improvement Experience working on a production floor in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated knowledge of APQP disciplines, PFMEA,Process Flows, Control Plans, Machine Design and Man-Time-Machine studies (MTM) Knowledge of production operations, machine issues and plant operations 10% domestic or international travel Preferred
Qualifications:
Automotive Manufacturing experience High Volume manufacturing experience is Preferred Heat exchanger and/or exposure to working with aluminum is a plus Knowledge of PLC programming is a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
