30 pm The Youth Services Associate (Tempoary) will support the case management and follow-up services necessary to assist customers and provide continuous case management and follow up services to assist customers in achieving employment goals.
The Associate will work with youth to develop Individual Service Strategy?s (ISS?s) that include mapping their career pathways, follow up services and connection to supportive services.
The Associate will assist with program outreach, program enrollment, conducting one-on-one intake, and support the team with facilitating group orientations.
The Youth Services Associate Temporary reports to the Manager, Youth Services and works closely with the entire Youth Services Department.
They will work across teams with internal partners, organizations, training providers, and the public.
This position is temporary, non-exempt and has no supervisory functions.

Responsibilities:
Interaction with Program Participants Responsible for providing excellent customer service and support by responding to emails Interviews customers and jointly establishes individual service strategies Ensure that participants meet program eligibility requirements Conducts follow-up on customer retention in employment, education, or training activities and programs Participate in recruitment and outreach events to build participant base Case Management Regulatory Functions Uses the Maryland Workforce Exchange (MWE) system, Career Edge platform and other database systems to verify customer status Prepares status reports Connect and build rapport with approved Occupational Skills Training providers Assists with special projects, generates ideas, and implements plans for the continuous improvement and evaluation of youth services.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
